This 3-days Uganda wildlife safari will take you to Murchison Falls national park in northwestern Uganda to look for wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, Cape buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, and other species. This safari will be made up of different adventurous jungle activities like game drive safaris, hiking to the top of the Murchison Falls, and a boat cruise on the River Nile.
During these 3-days Murchison Falls national park safari, Murchison Falls National Park is home to over 76 mammal species and about 451 recorded bird species. It contains woodlands, riverine forests, and savannah grasslands. The park is part of the Murchison Falls Conservation Area that includes; Bugungu wildlife reserves and Karuma.
On this day, you will be warmly met by your allocated English speaking safari guide to meet and greet; have a short briefing about your tour, get all your travel bags loaded into your safari vehicle and thereafter, head to Murchison falls national park, found in northwestern Uganda about 320 km from Kampala.
The drive will take you through villages and small towns like Luwero where you can stop at the road side fruit market to buy some fresh fruits like pineapples, mangoes, watermelon among other to feel the taste of Uganda’s grown fruits.
On your arrival at the park, drive straight to your booked lodge to check in, have lunch, refresh, spend some time at leisure and later early evening, visit the top of Murchison Falls to descend from the top of the falls to bottle.
The visit to the top of Murchison Falls will give you breathtaking views of the whole river Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge of only 7 meters wide and dropping about 43 meters into a pool forming a strong thunderous sound which is so lovely.
After enjoying the top of Murchison falls, return to your lodge, and spend the whole evening at your own leisure until it’s time to have your dinner and an overnight.

Today, Wake up at your convenience, to have breakfast then spend the morning at leisure at your lodge viewing its beauty until it’s time for lunch then go for the afternoon boat cruise on the Nile which starts at 02:00 pm.
The boat cruise safari goes upstream from the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the Murchison falls stopping few meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’ of the falls which will give you an amazing view of the fall and see how the River Nile drops into a pool. The boat cruise will take you through the zones of water mammals and birds like bloats Hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles, some birds like the Egyptian goose, goliath heron, kingfisher, pelican bee-eater, hornbill, cormorant, you may see some land mammals when they have come to drink water and swimming.
After the boat cruise, drive to the park for a sunset game drive for wild life sighting. It is so exciting for the sunset to find you in the jungle. During the game drive, you will encounter several animal species such as giraffe, elephants, lions, Leopard, Porcupine, and Civet, Spotted hyenas, the grazing hippos among others not forgetting the lovely sounds of animals and to run how wildlife animals spend their night in the jungle.
On a lucky day, you may meet predators hunting which is one of the great wildlife experiences of the savannah. After the game drive, get back to your lodge to refresh, have dinner and an overnight. Murchison falls National Park is the best savannah national parks in Uganda for a night game drive. Later drive back to your lodge for an overnight.

Wake up very early to grab your tasty breakfast, have all your luggage already to be packed into your vehicle, check out of your lodge and drive to the park for a morning game drive safari. During the game drive, your safari guide will help you to spot several animals and share with you lots of information regarding various wildlife species that you will spot such as Caped buffalo, Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Jackson hartebeest, Roth child giraffes, oribis, Lion, Common warthogs some primates species on a lucky day, you may spot a leopard, have short break to enjoy your full breakfast and later proceed with your game drive to fully explore the park and be able to spot several wildlife species.
After the game drive embark on your drive back to your place of residence in Kampala or Entebbe. This will be the end of your 3-day wildlife safari to Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda.
