Day 1:

On this day, you will be welcomed by our professional driver guide at Bujumbura International Airport, be transfer for cultural experience and later driver to Rusizi National Park.

Here, you will enjoy a boat cruise on Rusizi River where you will have a chance of spotting wildlife varieties such as hippos and crocodiles plus a lot of bird species. You will view the joining point between Rusizi River and Lake Tanganyika. You will also enjoy Belvedere climb where you will have a great view of the Bujumbura city.
Still, you will visit the meeting place between Burton Speke and Livingston, monuments of heroes of independence and later drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Karera Falls. Along the way, you will have stunning views of the scenery inclusive of the tea plantations. After the water fall visit, you will proceed to Gitega; a town well known as the second town and the colonial capital of Burundi. You will have a tour around this city and visit Gitega National Museum.

While here, you will get a chance to see several artifacts at the museum, catholic location of Mushasha, and Gitega Administrative Offices. On this day you will visit one of the famous sites in Burundi well known as The Drum Sanctuary of Gishora.
Transfer from Gitega to Rubuvu National Park

Day 3:

Transfer from Gitega to Rubuvu National Park

Day 3:

After breakfast, you will embark on your vehicle to Rubuvu National Park. On your way, you will have several stopovers for photography and stunning views of the country’s beautiful scenery. You will also have a chance to spot lovely wildlife such as buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. You will have lunch en route and later drive to Bujumbura for dinner and overnight

Transfer to Kigwena Reserve

Transfer to Kigwena Reserve

Day 4

After breakfast, you will embark on your vehicle and transfer to Kigwena National Park. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a forest walk, and you will have to see flora and fauna such as chimpanzees, a variety species of monkeys and Baboons. You will visit springs water at Mugara, a place you can’t miss to visit. You will later transfer to Bujumbura for dinner and overnight

After breakfast, depending on your flight, you will be transferred to Bujumbura International Airport to catch up for your flight back home.
