Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, early in the morning, after your arrival or after having breakfast at your hotel, our driver guide will pick you up, and you start the 7-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is the second-visited national park after Murchison, and it is full of mammals and several species of birds. You will drive in the western direction as you pass through the Savana grasslands, the people, and a small town with people doing their daily activities.

As you drive towards Mbarara city, you will encounter herds of cattle and several plantaions. The herds of cattle are known as the Ankole Long honed Cattle, and they are only available in this part of Uganda. Once you have reached Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will check in for lunch at your booked lodge and later depart for the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel.

The journey starts at 2 p.m., and it is outstanding as it connects the two lakes of George and Edward. The boat cruise here will give you a chance to see a lot of hippos since Queen Elizabeth National Park is the channel that has the highest concentration of hippos in the whole world. The channel also features several species of birds, and you'll see a lot of animals here during the boat cruise. You will be able to take photos, enjoy the bird watching, and then go on the evening game drive to explore the best animals in the evening.

Later, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Early morning wildlife safari in the park—return to Kampala

Today, you will wake up and have a break fast prepared by your hotel, and later you will meet your guide and drive for the 7 a.m. game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of the park, where you have a chance to encounter various African savannah, including the elephants, buffaloes, topis, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, spotted hyenas, the leopards, Uganda kobs, lions, and others.

Here, you will spot various species of birds, among which include the Martial eagle, kingfishers, African fish eagles, African skimmer, pink-backed pelicans, black bee-eaters, etc. on the top lists in Uganda and East Africa.

After, you will go back to your hotel, checkout and start your journey back  to Kampala with enroute stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and and the Uganda Equator crossing at Kayabwe for amazing photo opportunities and to buy souvenirs to remember your safari in Uganda later to be taken back to Entebbe international airport or Kampala.
